Abstract

The topic of this research is a statement of the position of the scholars of the Zaidi (Al-Haidawi), from the jurisprudence of Ameer Al-Momineen Ali Bin Abi Taleb (May Allah be pleased with him) with regard to the special status that he has to them in comparison to the other companions. The research shows that Zaydi scholars do not differ in jurisprudence of Sahabies in general, and exclude the doctrine of Ali (May Allah be pleased with him), some of them declare that it is an argument and does not indicate the existence of a dispute in the matter at the Zaidi, and some of them mention that the matter is subject to disagreement between them.

It was clear to the researcher that this issue is not the subject of an agreement between the Zaidies; some of them accept the authority and some of them do not. They may have to violate but they agree that the doctrine of Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) is of a special status and a great importance in comparison to the other doctrines of the companions (May God Almighty be pleased with them all). The study gave preponderance to the sayings of Zaidies who do not accept the authoritative doctrine of Ali (May Allah be pleased with him).
