Sculpture Symposiums in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its impact on the sculptor

Abstract

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of artist’s participation in the sculptural symposiums held in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Further, to evaluate their response and impact on both Saudi and non-Saudi artists.

     A questionnaire was distributed to the artists participated in Tuwaiq International Symposium 2020, that include Saudi and foreign Sculptors and the National Dialogue Symposium, that include only Saudi Artists from various regions in the kingdom.

     A total of 26 artists participated in the study. The results showed that recently the acquisition of sculpture Symposium with great interest by the organizers and individuals and presented with high level of organization and preparation. The results also demonstrated that the acquisition of the artist participating in sculpture

symposiums gained more skills and experiences and enhance and contributes to its global spread.
