Self – Transcendence and its sub-dimensions as a predictor of attitude toward psychological counselor and Job engagement among a sample of psychological counselors

Abstract

 The study aimed to identify the differences between males and female psychological counselor in: Self – Transcendence, attitude toward psychological counselor, Jop engagement; The sample of the study consisted of 148 counselor (32 exploratory samples); Self– Transcendence scale, and attitude toward psychological counselor scale, and Jop engagement scale prepared by the researcher. The results found no differences between males and females on the study variables, except orientation of profession of psychological counselor, where the difference  at the level of (0.05) in the direction of females; Finding meaning, interpersonal relations, valuing, and wisdom (40%) of the varying degrees of attitude toward psychological counselor, and contributed both Finding meaning, self-awareness, interpersonal relations, wisdom and dealing with different situations of (52%) of the degrees of Self – Transcendence, the study concluded with a set of recommendations.
