The degree of availability of the requirements of the governance standard at Hafar Al-Batin University in accordance with the standards of institutional accreditation of the Education Evaluation Authority in KSA.

The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of the requirements of the governance standard at the University of Hafr Al-Batin in light of the institutional accreditation standards of the Education Evaluation Commission from the point of view of the faculty members in it, and proposals for improvement that contribute to raising the degree of availability, where the descriptive approach was used to achieve the goals and build a questionnaire consisting of (43 A paragraph distributed into (6) fields, applied to a simple random sample of (235) faculty members.
The study found that:
- The degree of availability of the requirements of the governance standard at the University of Hafr Al-Batin in light of the standards of institutional accreditation of the Education Evaluation Authority, it came with a moderate degree.
- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a≤0.05) due to the gender variable (male, female) in favor of males, and the faculty type variable (human, scientific) in favor of human faculties, and there are no statistically significant differences for the variable of academic rank (professor, professor Associate, Assistant Professor).
- One of the most important proposals to improve the degree of availability of the requirements of the governance standard at Hafar Al-Batin University is to set up a system that ensures adequate representation of faculty members working in the main center, branches, and both male and female students in the higher committees of the university, and to establish a system for selecting leaders and preparing future leaders.
Among the most important recommendations of the study:
- Intensifying training courses and workshops to introduce the standard of governance as one of the standards for institutional accreditation of the Kingdom’s Education Evaluation Authority and its magazines, for leaders of academic and administrative work and faculty members at the university, to enrich their knowledge of the requirements to raise the degree of availability.
