Structural Modeling of Sternberg's Triarchic Intelligence and University Students' Concerns arising from the Coronavirus (COVID- 19) Outbreak

Abstract

The causal modeling of the successful Sternberg triadic intelligence on fears associated with the outbreak of the newly Corona Virus COVID-19 among University students.

     The aim of the current research is to arrive at a causal model that explains the causal effects of successful Sternberg triadic intelligence on fears associated with the outbreak of the newly Corona Virus COVID-19 among Qassim University students. The degree of possession of the study sample from the triadic intelligence will be identified, as will the degree of fears they experience regarding COVID-19. Two tools will be used to collect research data, which are the Sternberg Triadic Intelligence Scale (Analytical Intelligence - Practical Intelligence - Creative Intelligence), and the COVID-19 Outbreak Scale, which will be applied electronically simultaneously to the study sample. The descriptive method will be used to address two descriptive hypotheses that aim to determine the reality of the variables under study on the research sample, and the associational causal method will be used to address the causal hypotheses which tests the relationships among independent and dependent variables. One-Sample T test will be used to achieve descriptive goals, and path analysis using structural modeling will be used to achieve causal goal.

     In light of the results that will be reached, it is possible to take advantage of the independent variables, which are the three intelligences in the study and try to direct them in a way that mitigates these negative feelings or any other negative feelings and experiences in the future. The research is directed to all university, psychological, medical and social sectors, as it is directed to those concerned with Crises Management that pass society in an emergency manner.
