Abstract

  Arabic calligraphy is a rich source of Islamic art throughout the Islamic ages, and it is part of the decoration. The KSA attaches great importance to Arabic calligraphy, and we clearly notice this in the inscriptions and writings on the Two Holy Mosques. The problem is on in the importance of the aesthetic dimensions of Arabic calligraphy in the design and production of woodwork in innovative ways that keep pace with modernity and digital technology to enrich contemporary artworks. And applied to product design students to design and implement wooden crafts with Arabic calligraphy capabilities. And emphasizes the possibility of benefiting from arts as a unit in terms of ideas and materials to achieve sustainability.

     As the results: The ability uses the aesthetic dimensions of Arabic calligraphy in contemporary wooden crafts using technical programs and laser printers. It is recommended to take advantage of technologies and invest the Arabic calligraphy in all artistic work.
