Abstract

 Among the reasons that led to the emergence of historicism: the synthesis between the text, scientific and economic theories, intellectual philosophies, orientalism, the study of Muslim books with the mentality of the West, which continues to stigmatize the East and its civilization as backwardness - they claimed - and social and human studies influenced by anti-religious secularism and calling for the de-sanctification of the text. The research plan consisted of an introduction containing the research problem, objectives, questions and methodology. Preface: The position of the mind among the Sunnis. And three demands:

The first requirement: the definition of history and the reasons that led to its emergence.

     The second requirement: Muhammad Arkoun is a model of historical interpretation.

The third requirement: Criticism of historical philosophy in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah and the sayings of the predecessors

Conclusion: It contains the most important results and recommendations.

 

    Historicism is: a doctrine that determines the relativity of social laws and their spatio-temporal character, and that laws are the product of the collective mind. The researcher recommends making efforts in the fundamental aspect to repel the suspicions and modern problems that contradict the Islamic religion, and to hold scientific conferences to discuss these destructive waves of modernist thought, and to clarify their danger to religion.
