Self-Presentation Strategies and Their Relationship to Positive Social Behavior among a Sample of Secondary School Students in Bisha Governorate

The study aimed to identify the most important strategies of self-presentation among secondary school students in Bisha Governorate, as well as the degree of positive social behavior they have, and the relationship between them, also the predictability of positive social behavior through the strategies of self-presentation. In order to achieve these objectives, the study followed the descriptive method in its descriptive predictable form, and a random sample of (349) students was selected and applied on them the study tools which were: Self- Presentation Strategies Scale (Logani, 2010) and Positive Social Behavior Scale (By: the research) after verifying their validity& reliability, The study found that there is a (high) level for the use of secondary school students for strategies of self-presentation, and the most prominent strategies are non-verbal strategy, The results also showed a high degree of positive social behavior and its dimensions (belonging, social responsibility, and cooperation). There was also a significant correlation between the total degree and the dimensions of self-presentation strategies and positive social behavior, Positive social behavior can also be predicted through self-presentation strategies. Based on these findings, a set of recommendations have been presented that promote the high level of self-affirmative self-promotion strategies and positive social behavior.
