Abstract

This study analyzes the poem of the Sudanese poet (Rawdah Al-Hajj) in the elegy of the Palestinian poet (Mahmoud Darwish) by approaching her vision for several approaches: (stylistic, psychological, historical, semiotic), and it presents several questions about the vision with an attempt to approach the text, and this study includes:

A definition of this study and its importance, the reason for choosing the topic, the questions it raises, the research plan, its methodology and its objectives through the following sections:

  • Intellectual level, including:

1- The moment of death and the astonishment of language.

2- The philosophy of presence and absence and the position of time.

3- The humanization of the city and its attitude towards loss.

4- Accountability of the threshold.

  • Structural level: the language of the poem and the formation of sentences.

    The research reached a number of important results.
