Mechanisms of the philological method in orientalist studies of Islamic civilization

Abstract

     Orientalism is one of the aspects of the relationship between East and West, and if we wanted to be more precise, we would say it is the intellectual background of the civilizational conflict, which has influenced and continues to influence Islamic thought, as it played a prominent role in poisoning the Western mind towards Islam. These orientalists research and scrutiny.

     And in response to the undeniable reality that Orientalism has strong influences on modern Islamic thought, I thought that I should study the philological method by studying, and analyzing the mechanisms of episteme, in my belief that the methods used in any scientific writing are the basis on which it or it is judged. Likewise, the study of Orientalist methods an attempt to examine it is inevitable in the field of Orientalism criticism.
