The impact of a Multi-Media Program on the acquisition of Chemical knowledge and high - order thinking skills among Secondary stage students in Taiz City

The aims of the search are to see the effect of a multimedia program on the acquisition of chemical knowledge and high - order thinking skills among Secondary stage students in Taiz City. The study tools included an electronic media program for the unit of ionic balance in aqueous solutions, and a test to measure the level of Chemical knowledge and high - order thinking skills. The research used the experimental design pre and post for experimental and control groups, and the sample was made up of 100 female students equally distributed across the two groups. The results showed that the use of a multimedia has a great impact on the acquisition of knowledge of chemistry and develop the high – order thinking skills and continuing the learning effects among the experimental group students.
The study recommended the importance of training chemistry teachers to use and apply multimedia in teaching chemistry for secondary school students.
