Abstract

The study aims to recognize the Muslim family’s role in enhancing the moderation value in worship, society, and the economy. The importance of the study lies in achieving balance and moderation in each individual. The researcher used the descriptive survey method as an appropriate approach to study nature and its quarries. A questionnaire was prepared for the study, as it is suitable for such a study that includes 42 statements divided into three parts. The study was applied to a sample of 437 female students from Imam Mohammed bin Saudi Islamic University. The study showed that the family role in enhancing the moderation value in worship came to 2.99 out of 5.00 degree. The family role in enhancing the moderation value in social life came to 3.99 out of 5.00 degree. The family role in enhancing the moderation value in the economic life came to 3.57 out of 5.00. The researcher recommended promoting the family role by holding seminars that call for a correct understanding of the moderation approach in worship and raising children to understand Islam’s tolerance in dealing with offenders. Also, the researcher recommended promoting a culture of family dialogue and employing Islamic and Arab media because of the importance of their role in addressing the family.
