The role of a professional license in developing teacher performance from the viewpoint of science teachers in Makkah

Abstract

     The study aimed to identify the role of a professional license in the development of the teacher's performance from the point of view of science teachers in the city of Mecca. Professional knowledge, professional practice. The instrument was applied after confirming its ratification and stable on a simple random sample of science parameters at the primary and middle stage in Mecca, and 237 teachers.

      The results of the most important: The roles of professional license were all gained a middle degree for the three areas (values ​​and professional responsibilities, professional knowledge, professional practice). There are also statistically significant differences at a significant level (0.05 = α) among the views of the parameters towards the role of a professional license in the development of teacher's performance attributable to the qualification for a higher class. It also shows that there are differences for those who have provided professional license testing. While the results showed no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 = α) among the views of teachers towards the role of professional license in the development of teacher's performance is attributable to the course. One of the most important recommendations of the study was to raise awareness of the importance of the role of a professional license in the development of teacher's performance and attention to the Professional Rehabilitation Program for the preparation of the teacher for a teaching license and the development of educational school programs in Saudi Arabia to become compatible with the terms and requirements of the teachers.
